Job Type: Permanent Full Time Position
Salary: $36.50 per hour for a minimum of 30 hours per week
Overtime: 1.5 times the wages after 44 hours per week
Job Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing business development plans aligned with the organization's mission, goals, and values.
- Identifying and pursuing funding opportunities, including grants, donations, sponsorships, and partnerships.
- Building and nurturing relationships with other organizations, stakeholders, and community members to foster collaborations and strategic alliances.
- Researching and preparing grant proposals, funding applications, and project plans.
- Developing and implementing marketing strategies to enhance the organization's visibility and promote its programs and services.
- Tracking and evaluating the effectiveness of business development initiatives and programs.
- Collaborating with internal teams, including program managers, finance personnel, and executive staff, to ensure alignment between business development activities and overall organizational objectives.
- Conducting market research, and feasibility studies to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
- Representing the organization in community forums, networking events, and industry conferences to raise awareness about its mission and advocate for its causes.
- Preparing regular reports, financial statements, and progress updates for internal and external stakeholder.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and funding requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, non-profit management, marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in business development, fundraising, or related roles within the non-profit sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Work Experience:
- Person must have experience of two to three years of this sector.
